Professor George holds the McCormick Chair in Jurisprudence and is Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University. He served as Chairman of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and as a presidential appointee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. He also served on the President’s Council on Bioethics and was a Judicial Fellow at the Supreme Court of the United States, where he received the Justice Tom C. Clark Award. He is a recipient of the U.S. Presidential Citizens Medal and the Honorific Medal for the Defense of Human Rights of the Republic of Poland.
Dr. Scott Hahn is the author (or editor) of over forty books, including best-selling titles like Rome Sweet Home, The Lamb’s Supper, and Hail Holy Queen. His most recent titles include: The First Society, The Fourth Cup, Romans: A Catholic Commentary, The Creed, Joy to the World, and Evangelizing Catholics. His academic publications include: Kinship by Covenant and Politicizing the Bible. He is the editor of the academic journal, Letter & Spirit: A Journal of Catholic Biblical Theology. He holds the Fr. Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. He is the founder and president of the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology. Dr. Scott Hahn has delivered thousands of popular talks and academic lectures, nationally and internationally, on a wide range of topics related to Scripture, Theology and the Catholic faith. Many of these presentations have been recorded and distributed by Lighthouse Catholic Media. Scott graduated from Grove City College in 1979 with his BA in Theology, Philosophy and Economics. He received his M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1982, and his Ph.D. in Theology from Marquette University in 1995. He was ordained in 1982 at Trinity Presbyterian Church (Fairfax VA). He entered the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil, 1986. Dr. Scott Hahn has been married to Kimberly for 38 years. They live in Steubenville, Ohio and have six children and fifteen grandchildren.

Mr. Kudlow is the former Director of the National Economic Council and a Fox News anchor. Formerly CEO of Kudlow & Co., LLC, an economic and investment research firm, he is an economist, an author, and a nationally syndicated columnist. He also was contributing editor of National Review magazine and CNBC’s Senior Economics Contributor. Mr. Kudlow served as associate Director of Economics and Planning during President Reagan’s administration and was a member of the Bush-Cheney Transition Advisory Committee. He has testified as an expert witness on economic matters before several congressional committees.
Founder and former Chairman of Domino’s Pizza Inc. and current Chairman of the Ave Maria Foundation, Mr. Monaghan has devoted himself to Roman Catholic philanthropy. He supervised the construction of a cathedral in Nicaragua; built a mission in Honduras; and founded Legatus, an international organization of Catholic CEOs. Mr. Monaghan is also Chancellor of Ave Maria University in southwest Florida.
Melissa Moschella is currently an Associate Professor of Philosophy at The Catholic University of America. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor of Medical Ethics at Columbia University. She graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College, earned her Licentiate in Philosophy summa cum laude from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, and received her Ph.D. in Political Philosophy from Princeton University. Her book, To Whom Do Children Belong? Parental Rights, Civic Education and Children’s Autonomy was published in 2016 by Cambridge University Press. Dr. Moschella speaks and writes for both academic and popular audiences on a variety of contemporary moral issues, including religious freedom, marriage, parental rights, brain death and the ethics of assisted reproduction. Her articles have been published in scholarly journals as well as popular media outlets, including Bioethics, The Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, Theoretical Medicine and Bioethics, The American Journal of Jurisprudence, The Journal of Law and Religion, The American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly, The Encyclopedia of Social and Behavioral Sciences, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The New York Daily News, National Review and The Public Discourse. She is a regular contributor to EWTN News Nightly, and has also appeared on FOX, NBC, PBS, and NPR.
Gloria Purvis is a graduate of Cornell University and she worked for nearly two decades in the mortgage industry before becoming a risk management director at a major financial services company. She served on the National Black Catholic Congress’ Leadership Commission on Social Justice, and as an Advisory Board Member on the Maryland Catholic Conference’s Respect for Life Department as well as the Archdiocese of Washington’s Pastoral Council. She also taught Natural Family Planning and helped prepare engaged couples for marriage as a member of a Pre-Cana team in the Archdiocese of Washington. She has appeared in various media outlets including The Washington Post, PBS Newshour, Catholic Answers Live, and EWTN News Nightly. She is a Board Member for the Northwest Pregnancy Center and Maternity Home in Washington, D.C. She is the creator and former host of the EWTN series, Authentically Free at Last, that deals with the modern challenges to the expression and understanding of authentic human freedom. She was also the host of Morning Glory on EWTN Global Catholic Radio. She is dedicated to promoting the sanctity of human life, marriage, and the dignity of the human person.
Fr. John Riccardo is a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit. He was ordained in 1996 and served most recently as pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Plymouth, Michigan for 12 years. He is Executive Director of ACTS XXIX, an organization designed to identify, equip, and accompany pastors and their leadership teams to create an evangelization and discipleship road map for their parishes. Fr. Riccardo is the host of the radio show “Christ is the Answer,” which can be heard on EWTN Catholic radio stations across the country. Fr. Riccardo studied theology at the Gregorian University in Rome and received a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Pope John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and the Family.
Mr. Roney is Chairman of the Catholic Advisory Board. He is the Executive Director of the Ave Maria Foundation and President of Domino’s Farms Corporation. Mr. Roney is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Adam Cardinal Maida
Cardinal Maida served as the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Detroit from 1990 to 2009, and was elevated to Cardinal in 1994.
Appointed by Pope Benedict XVI, the Most Rev. Allen H. Vigneron was named archbishop of the Detroit Archdiocese on Jan. 5, 2009, succeeding Cardinal Adam Maida. In January of 2003, Archbishop Vigneron was named coadjutor bishop of the Diocese of Oakland, Calif. He served in that capacity for nine months before becoming the local ordinary (resident bishop). While in California, he oversaw the design and construction of a new cathedral, chancery, conference center and healing garden dedicated to those abused by clergy. In Detroit, he was named an auxiliary bishop under Cardinal Maida in 1996. Archbishop Vigneron served as rector-president of Sacred Heart Major Seminary from 1994–2003. He had studied for the priesthood there, returned in later years to teach philosophy and returned yet again as a dean. A native of Mt. Clemens, the archbishop was ordained as a priest of the Detroit Archdiocese in 1975.
Former Commissioner of Major League Baseball, Bowie was active in many Catholic organizations and was instrumental in starting the Ave Maria Mutual Funds. He died March 15, 2007 but is still with us in spirit.
